Catena Media plc (LEI code: 549300609A73DL5C5Z86) repurchased 1,087,000 of its own ordinary shares (ISIN code: MT0001000109) from 24 to 28 July 2023 as part of its share buyback programme.

The buyback programme was authorised by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on 12 July 2023 and initiated and announced by the board of directors on 17 July 2023.

The programme is being carried out in accordance with the EU Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 ("MAR") and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 (the "Safe Harbour Regulation"). Its purpose is to deliver shareholder value and optimise the capital structure by reducing the Company’s share capital through subsequent cancellation of repurchased shares.

The table below sets out the share repurchases conducted under the programme from 24 July to 28 July 2023. All share repurchases were carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm by Carnegie Investment Bank AB on behalf of Catena Media. Carnegie makes its trading decisions concerning the timing of the share buybacks independently of Catena Media.

Following the above transactions, the company’s holdings of its own shares on 28 July 2023 was 1,789,007 ordinary shares. The total number of outstanding shares is 78,769,812.
