Catena Media to sponsor the IFR Champions Cup: Esports Edition

What is the IFR Champions Cup Esports Edition?

The IFR Champions Cup is back for a second edition. This time, it's bigger and better than ever! This tournament is one of a kind & unites the iGaming, Fintech and Real Estate industries.  

Each team of eight players represents their company in this tournament, battling each other at EA SPORTS FIFA23 in a bid to win prizes & trophies.

Participants will unite for a good cause during two fun and exciting days. A significant portion of revenues will be donated towards chosen local foundations.

The tournament will take place in 2 stages:

• January 21st 2022: Qualification matches
• January 22nd 2022: Players will battle for the top spots, and one will be named IFR Champions Cup Esports Champion.

Who organises the IFR Champions Cup Esports Edition?

Two companies are responsible for this initiative. 

For A Cause Events actively organise a variety of premium events in which a portion of the proceeds will always be donated to charity. They are currently engaged in the organisation of corporate and company sports events such as the IFR Champions Cup (football), IFR Padel Cup, IFR Esports Edition (FIFA) and IFR 3x3 Cup (Basketball).

GMR Entertainment is an esports event company that regularly hosts both online and offline events. They aim to deliver high-quality esports events with spectacular venues and shows.
