SCOPE OF THE JOB:

The Head of Analytics U.S. will lead the organization on a data driven decision-making course to optimize customer segmentation, product offerings, processes improvements, cost & pricing algorithms, promotional campaigns and organizational structure. The role will involve the Head of Analytics getting his/ her hands dirty, applying anything from simple excel analysis to sophisticated machine learning algorithms and solving hard analytical problems for the business, working directly with the heads of the business departments and with the global Analytics team. 


YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Leverage data to help the business answer questions around consumer profiles, products/ service offerings, process optimization, cost optimization, customer acquisition/retention/churn and any other business goals that can be addressed through data insights.
  • Build, validate, test, and deploy machine learning or other data science models to predict and influence the behavior of consumers with the goal of optimizing products & services.
  • Develop a deep behavioral understanding of customers and develop insights leading to game changers 
  • Work independently or in a team to solve complex problems
  • As the Head of Data Analytics US you will, over time, build a team of data analysts needed to solve the local business challenges
  • Test and validate insights via rapid experimentation and deployment
  • Interface with business & operation teams to formulate solutions & product changes informed by analytical findings
  • TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities & experience setting up an analytical organization from ground up and could layout the Analytics agenda for the organization to drive growth
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience of predictive modeling algorithms such as regressions, time series, clustering, and decision trees with familiarity dealing with tradeoffs between model performance and business needs
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience in consumer profiling, segmenting, targeting and positioning
  • Experience in interfacing with other teams and departments and the ability to convey complex solutions in layman terms
  • Deep understanding of databases and ETL technology
  • Statistical expertise and proficiency in programs such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python and visualization tools such as Alteryx or Tableau
  • Strong business Acumen
  • Advanced degree (MSc) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Operations Research preferred.
