We are looking for experienced PHP/WordPress Developer with the main responsibility being managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. 

SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be required to liaise directly and effectively with various teams, building websites from scratch primarily using WordPress but some experience of other platforms would be an advantage. You will have the ability to code and build bespoke sites as well as design and develop websites using off-the-shelf commercial themes as a base.
  • YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
  • Working with the Product Owner to develop a strong search strategy for the respective product(s)
  • Understand business requirements and convert them to a solution design
  • Code the design together with other developers from the team
  • To work alongside other developers and designers, discuss work and requirements through JIRA
  • To monitor the quality of code, while fulfilling the tasks to a high standard
  • Understand business requirements and convert them to a solution design
  • Do code reviews and ensure high standard of code quality
  • Work on revising and developing data-crunching algorithms
  • Deploy your code to live environments 
  • TO DO THIS, YOU WILL NEED

  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • WordPress
  • Laravel
  • Solid knowledge of GitHub
  • Web service development experience
  • Experience with GIT and Jenkins is a plus
  • DevOps experience is a plus
  • Strong experience in web development together with experience with server-side and client-side application development
  • Excellent command and experience using Symphony and PHP
  • Solid knowledge of RestAPI architecture
