At Catena, we specialise in creating high traffic websites, that help build high-value relationships between our customers and partners. Our clients seek out our methods to enhance their online presence and gain exposure. To help us do this, we are looking for an experienced SEO professional to join our Product-centric cross-functional team and will be directly responsible for this product’s success.


  • Reporting to the SEO Team Leader and working alongside with SEO Off-page team you will be responsible for taking ownership of the development and execution of country and product-specific SEO strategies, in line with SEO best practices. They will also be responsible for the continued health and growth of its keyword rankings and organic traffic to drive incremental revenue while maintaining overall site health.

  • Carrying out competitor and market research, alongside technical site audits and performance audits to plan site improvements and optimisation for mobile
  • Assessing the performance of content campaigns on various pages and work with Content Editors to optimise and improve the SEO value of each page
  • Working with the Product Owner to develop a strong search strategy for the respective product(s)
  • Working along with the SEO Team Leader to ensure the products’ search experience strategy is in line with the Company strategy
  • Defining requirements, tasks, and resources associated with the SEO strategy
  • Executing the implementation of the search strategy for the specific product
  • Executing content outreach campaigns according to the scheduled alongside Content Editors and the Off-page team
  • Reviewing the backlink profile and develop and implement link building campaigns
  • Monitoring and evaluating Google analytics reports in order to optimize and measure campaigns and initiatives
  • Identifying and resolving site fixes and technical issues
  • Keeping pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments, while developing strong knowledge of the market
  • Sourcing and managing agencies and freelancers when necessary

  • At least 2 years’ experience in SEO or digital marketing or agency environment
  • Technical skills in order to understand how search engines access, interpret and render the content of the product and how search engines work.
  • Genuine interest in the digital world and digital marketing
  • Well organized and able to prioritise own work
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Experience in carrying out A/B testing and the ability to suggest improvements on the site
  • Solid experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog
  • Fluent English + Swedish
