  • To define the commercial and content strategy of our Racing properties, to ensure that they achieve the agreed business targets. This will be achieved through a mixture of affiliate and branding revenues, and working with the Editors to ensure we continue to deliver the highest quality racing content. This includes working to the Racing calendar and defining the best website, marketing channel to reach the largest relevant audience. You will need to identify the key trends and patterns from the analytics in order to perform this. You will need to understand the affiliation model as well as a basic understanding of SEO, social and PPC in order to get the best out of your properties    

  • Responsible for delivery of the Racing Department revenue targets
  • Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and spend within the Racing Department.
  • Define the overall content/commercial strategy for all forms of media, using analytics to best define the direction of the vertical
  • Develop relationships with customers, influencers, industry stakeholders to create “Outstanding Relationships
  • Be responsible for managing both freelance and employed staff
  • Work closely with the marketing, commercial and social teams to define key tent pole events and long term strategy.
  • Drive the product development to become best in market with an emphasis on “Kick Ass Products”
  • Come up with creative/ innovative new ideas to drive our brands forward
  • Work with the Editors to ensure all content continues to be best in market
  • Work with commercial and operators to define marketing campaigns that will best engage customers

  • Strong professional experience working in Racing publishing and affiliation  
  • Good sports and gambling knowledge is preferred, along with a passion for racing
  • Very commercially focused with proven experience of developing revenue streams
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text) and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and preferably one or more of the following languages: Swedish, French, Italian and German.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a strong understanding of online marketing channels
  • Good analytics tools knowledge - GA, GTM, FACEBOOK & TWITTER analytics.
  • Positive attitude and user-focused, with strong multitasking and organisational skills.
