  • The ideal candidate will have a great interest in a number of different sports and expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Based in the London office for ease of communication, Squawka’s Lead Designer will use their creativity to take our award-winning content to the next level by visualising data, articles and day-to-day content in a variety of different ways.
  • The focus will be bringing analytical scripts to life with engaging videos and telling news stories through emotive video content.

  • Create premium content to be used on all platforms for clients
  • Help design graphics for feature articles on Squawka website as well as designing easily editable templates for writers to adapt on their own in busy periods.
  • Source quotes and stats independently to be transformed into engaging creative multimedia content for our sports platforms - as well as discussing key content with Social team
  • Work with Social Media Manager to create content for commercial clients - graphics and video included
  • Create reactive content but also plan-ahead for key dates in the calendar to launch creative campaigns: UCL knockout stages
  • Work with Social Media Manager to amplify our presence on Instagram and explore the benefits of Instagram stories and IGTV
  • Give one day a week for match coverage and day-to-day assistance on social handles (weekend matchdays or midweek evenings)
  • Be on hand to create reactive content and video in-house on request to ensure all sports content stays relevant and, on the pulse
  • Design editable graphics and video templates that can be adapted by less-advanced Creative Cloud users to ensure output is sustained during absence / during busy periods (UCL evenings)
