As our new Web Analyst, you will be an integral part of our awesome Data Analytics team and you will be responsible for systems which monitor and alert on issues within the data quality sphere. Working closely with the Product Owner and with Data development team, in this role you will have the opportunity to plan and automate processes for delivering clear, visually appealing, useful data models to be used by our various business units.


  • Catena Media is a very dynamic and agile company in all respects. As a Web Analyst and an essential member of our Data Analytics team, you will not only be responsible for most of the reports being generated, but will also analyse and provide insights from a variety of online sources to maximise Catena Media's digital potential.

  • Translate business requirements into automated systems for the stakeholders
  • Be an evangelist for the stakeholders to make decisions based on data and be a truly data driven organisation
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Hands-on across several digital channels and properties to identify trends, patterns and irregularities to help understand customer behavior, shape design and improve our general on site offering
  • Analyse and provide actionable insights to identify opportunities to improve online content effectiveness and user experience
  • Be responsible for measuring and following up the success of changes to our products
  • Ensure reliable tagging and tracking to support accurate measurement and data validations – see issues to resolution
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly performance dashboards
  • Continuously raise the standard of reporting and insights-sharing
  • Manage ad-hoc analytic queries and train internal users to run standard reports
  • Document business and technical solutions

  • BA in Business, Economics, Mathematics or previous work experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience working with different web analytic tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Marketing Cloud
  • Hands-on experience working with different unified tagging tools such as Google Tag Manager
  • A current Google Analytics IQ certificate would be an advantage
  • Experience and interest in conversion optimization, split- and multivariate testing
  • Experience working across departments
  • A thorough understanding of click analytics and user behavior
  • Strong analytical skills in online marketing and its sources (SEM/SEO) and strategies for measuring success of those type of initiatives
  • Strong problem solving skills; ability to develop and use structured approaches to identify root causes and recommend resolutions
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a structured way
  • Proactive with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication skills and with a calm and positive attitude when communicating with others
  • You are a detail oriented person and are vigilant with your analysis in order to come up with correct conclusions
