This position offers the opportunity to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of client accounts. Among several key skills needed in this role, accuracy and the use of efficient practices are essential to ensure debts are settled in a timely manner and all accounts are reconciled accordingly. In addition, you will be involved in reporting tasks on a monthly and quarterly basis while also supporting your team in bank reconciliations and payment postings.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

  • As a Finance Associate, you will be required to perform a variety of tasks, which will include general daily accounting duties and related support tasks. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
  • YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • General daily accounting duties such as posting of incoming payments and related support tasks
  • Compilation of monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Monitoring of flat fee payments
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Support to Account Operations in compiling correct data for invoicing
  • Chasing clients for monthly figure breakdowns and updating figures accordingly
  • TO DO THIS, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Be highly driven and motivated to learn
  • Have an A Level standard of education in Accounting
  • 1+ year previous experience in Financial position
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail
  • Communication skills, Strong Team Spirit, fluency in English Language
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet expected company deadlines
  • Be comfortable in a fast paced and international environment
