The Social Media Specialist manages the day-to-day ideation, creation, and execution of social content across a variety of product-specific social media channels. 


  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create the social media strategy for each website we operate 
  • Day-to-day social content lead, managing and editing our content calendar and digital asset tools 
  • Bring together the power of organic and paid social to deliver brand and acquisition metrics by working in partnership with our media buying and SEO resources. 
  • Build an audience for our brands via Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram 
  • Manage and coordinating the contractors and consultants to provide the content required for the social media strategy


  • Work with social media partners such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter
  • Publish and schedule social content across relevant platforms
  • Create and manage editorial calendars and use relevant publishing tools with the aim of increasing user engagement across Catena Media’s products
  • Ensure all content published on social channels is grammatically correct and factually accurate and that the writing style is consistent with Catena Media’s editorial and social media policies and best practices
  • Day-to-day social channel community management and maintenance
  • Monitor and report on social analytics and act on any insights with the aim of continuous improvement
  • Monitor the latest trends in the social and digital arena

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with experience working in partnership with comms, creative and media agencies 
  • Experience in creative development and copywriting with outstanding written and verbal skills 
  • Experience in leading end-to-end campaigns from concept creation to tracking, analysing results and optimising campaigns
  • Proven results of driving successful social media tests to improve performance 
  • Project management: Set the right priorities, effectively allocate resources, time management, while driving for continuous improvement 
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies for key initiatives that are aligned to brand goals
