Job Purpose:

The Head of SEO  takes ownership of the execution of the overall SEO plans for the Financial Services division, ensuring continued health and growth of its SEO search rankings and traffic.


SCOPE OF THE JOB:

  • As a lead building company, SEO is at the core of our business. In this role you will concentrate on producing and distributing internet content that will help us gain exposure with the goal to reach an even stronger web presence
  • YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Create, implement and manage the SEO strategy for various core websites owned and operated by the Financial Services division to attain improved rankings and increase organic traffic
  • Be responsible for the allocated SEO budget
  • Monitor and report on rankings and traffic to the General Manager regularly, by measuring keyword positions, search volume, and overall site visibility and ranking using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Proactively analyse and identify organic search opportunities and recommend changes to the Head of SEO to improve conversion and new growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with in-house and remote product, content and development teams to prioritise and develop SEO improvements  (e.g., technical SEO, site architecture optimisation, on-page and off-page optimisation)
  • Manage external SEO contractors to provide services and execution of the SEO strategy
  • Set up goals for, delegate tasks, and support team members in their daily work
  • As the team grow, participate in the recruitment and on-boarding of new team members
  • Keep pace with SEO, social media and industry trends
  • Other SEO related tasks as required
  • TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within SEO
  • Experience optimising websites creating an SEO strategy covering both on and off-site concepts
  • Solid knowledge and work experience with website development processes
  • Solid knowledge and work experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and other industry standard SEO tools
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent project planning and management skills
