A rare opportunity has arisen. We are looking for a business leader to lead and drive the expansion of the Casino business area of Catena Media in the role of Vice President (VP) of Casino.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

  • In collaboration with peers in the management team this role is responsible to chart the Casino business’ roadmap in terms of both product and financial targets, determine key resources decisions and investments and to lead a diversified and talented cross-functional team.     
  • YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Work on and implement the strategic plan that guides the direction of the Casino business area with guidance and direction from the overall Group strategy and those responsible for it

  • P&L responsibility effectively and confidently manage the profit and loss of the business area

  • Provide leadership expected to give direction for all employees and lead by example to all managers with fundamental managerial responsibilities

  • Create, communicate and implement the organisations purpose and mission and make sure that the direction is communicated on a level that allows every employee

  • Lead, guide, direct and evaluate the work of senior leaders of the Casino business area

  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organisation's culture and that emphasises the identified Purpose, Opportunity, Core Values and Strategic Pillars

  • Create outstanding relationships by meeting with business partners' senior managers

  • Meet and consult with senior company leaders to make sure that decisions are well thought out and timely and that they don't conflict with other business decisions or strategies

  • Evaluate the success and failures in the organisation make time to reflect, evaluate, learn and apply learnings from failure and success for continuous development and growth of the business

  • Represent the business area in public and carry out professional association responsibilities as requested
  • TO DO THIS, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor degree required. Master degree / MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of senior business management and operational leadership required, with a minimum of 5 years in the casino/iGaming sector
  • Strong leadership skills championing and promoting the core competencies of the Catena Media leadership framework (Actively Engaged, Lead by Example, Right Attitude, Effective Communicator)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong relationship development skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Bias toward action and "ownership" of business through solving problems/challenges rather than passing them along to others for solutions
  • Excellent organisational management skills
