SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • The Community Specialist manages the day-to-day ideation, creation, and execution of social content across a variety of product-specific social media channels.  Your role is to manage and build the community properties for our financial trading websites, the primary property and brand is www.asktraders.com and with it comes two fast growing Facebook groups and also a consumer complaints forum which you will be taking from foundation to a leading marketplace leader.
  • YOUR CHALLENGE

  • As part of your role, you will grow and nurture users to help them participate in the groups and if they have a dispute or complaint with a broker, you will liaise with the brokers to help find a resolution.
  • You will also manage our email CRM process, which must be closely tied to the community participation. 
  • Build an audience for our brands via Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram 
  • Manage and coordinate the contractors and consultants to provide the content required for the social media strategy
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create the social media strategy for each website we operate Day-to-day social content lead, managing and editing our content calendar and digital asset tools 
  • Bring together the power of organic and paid social to deliver brand and acquisition metrics by working in partnership with our media buying and SEO resources. 
  • Build an audience for our brands via Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram
  • Manage and coordinate the contractors and consultants to provide the content required for the social media strategy 
  • TO DO THIS, YOU WILL NEED

  • Facebook group management
  • Email marketing (ideally with aweber)
  • Community building
  • Social media experience
  • CRM experience
  • Proven experience in digital marketing with experience working in partnership with comms, creative and media agencies 
  • Experience in leading end-to-end campaigns from concept creation to tracking, analysing results and optimising campaigns
  • Experience in creative development and copywriting with outstanding written and verbal skills Proven results of driving successful social media tests to improve performance 
  • Project management: Set the right priorities, effectively allocate resources, time management, while driving for continuous improvement 
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies for key initiatives that are aligned to brand goals
